Welcome to podcast #116. In recent news, Sony introduced a new sensor, Lee Filters announced a new warming polarizing filter, Delkin introduced a trio of rugged SD cards, Apple released a plugin to import Aperture files into Lightroom, Mylio is a subscription-based photo organization program, and if you have $50,000 laying around, you may want to bid on a Hasselblad 500C camera that was the first in space.
Jim just returned from Slovenia workshop operated by Luka Esenko. Slovenia is a truly amazing and very photogenic place that Jim recommends you add to your bucket list. In addition, Jim joined a number of truly remarkable and interesting people and photographers from all over the globe. In addition, Tim Mannakee joined the group with two photographers from England. Jim also took time to interview Luka and Tim along with Curtis Budden (who runs workshops in Scotland and Poland), Tony Oberstar (an LA cinematographer), Dan Briski (a native Slovenian photographer), and Bob and Nadine (cousins of Tony who were visiting family in Slovenia). For more information on these other workshops and photographers, check www.lukaesenko.com, www.timmannakee.com, www.curtisbuddenphotography.com, and www.danbriski.com.
