In recent photography news, the programmers behind GIMP are asking supporters for financial supp ort to add new features, Iridient X-Transformer is coming to Windows. Three of the four Canadian filmmakers who were arrested for walking off-limits in Yellowstone have pleaded guilty. Chinese drone maker ZeroTech has announced a gimbal operated action camera. Kodachrome is likely NOT coming back. Triggertrap has announced it is closing its doors and going out of business. Adobe will no longer be selling Creative Suite and GoPro has re-released the Karma drone. More details on the podcast!

Lots of recent photography news for the new year! Some users are reporting overheating issues witht the new iPhone 7. A Kickstarter campaign is looking to develop GearEye, a grear management system to tag your photo items in your camera bag and follow by RFID on your smartphone. Brides magazine suggests weddings should only be photographed by Canon or Nikon cameras (really?). Canon was granted more patents in 2016 than Google and Apple! Lilycam announces it is closing its doors and offering refunds to backers. Timelapse+ has announced a new on-camera controller that will even adjust focus during the timelapse. Kodak has brought back Ektachrome film and may bring back Kodachrome! DJI has acquired Hasselblad. All this and more on the current podcast!
