Welcome to The Fotobug Podcast number 112.  In the news, the US Copyright office takes Wikimedia's side in the debate over the macaque "selfie", also Microsoft shows off a new timelapse technology (check www.thefotobug.net for video!) and Instagram has beat them to the market place with a Hyperlapse app for IOS devices.  Also, The new Triggertrap project Ada has experienced more delays, but is expected to be shipping by December.  If you have been holding off buying that next piece of Canon glass, Canon just announced a big discount on most of their lenses, from $40 to $1000 off retail, to celebrate the production of the 100 millionth EF lens.

Fred and I decided to pull from our vault a piece we did three years ago with Clyde Butcher at the Venice Gallery and darkroom.  Clyde just turned 70 in early September and we thought this would be a nice tribute to one of America's greatest photographers.  If you haven't visited his Venice, FL or Big Cypress Gallery in the Everglades, we urge you to do so!

Time is quickly growing short, so we recommend you sign up now for The Black Hills Shootout at the end of September.  There is also the Moose, fall colors  workshop in Maine from Oct 2 - 5 and finally, Slovenia, fall colors in the Julian Alps from October 17 - 24.  www.outdoorphotoworkshops.com.

Stay tuned for next time - coming up, interview with Jim Clark and more!
